Welcome to the Schwarzwaldweg hiking route! This circular trail offers a scenic journey through the beautiful Black Forest area. With a distance of 3.587 kilometers and an elevation gain of 177 meters, this trail is considered easy in terms of difficulty.
As you start your hike, you'll come across the Felsenhof information point situated approximately 0.49 kilometers from the beginning. This is a great spot to learn more about the natural surroundings and possibly take a break. As you continue, at around 1.57 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water point nearby to refresh yourself.
Along the way, you'll encounter several benches for resting, with the closest one being located 0.21 kilometers from the start. These benches provide a perfect opportunity to soak in the peaceful ambiance of the forest. For history enthusiasts, there is a wayside cross approximately 1.25 kilometers from the start, offering a glimpse into the region's past.
As you approach the midway point, around 1.5 kilometers from the start, you'll find another bench where you can pause and enjoy the surroundings. Towards the end of the trail, at approximately 0.09 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter for hikers to seek refuge if needed.
Don't forget to bring an ample water supply, as some water points may be off-trail. Additionally, it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before embarking on your hike. Parking facilities are available both at the beginning and near the end of the trail for your convenience.
