This hiking route near Freiburg im Breisgau offers a super easy trek through a beautiful natural setting. The trail covers a distance of approximately 1.532 kilometers with an elevation gain of 76 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the Erzwäscherei trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a convenient parking area. As you continue, you will come across a bench where you can take a rest about 0.41 kilometers into the hike. Further along, you will encounter a wayside cross and another bench, both located near the trail.

Around the 0.5 kilometer mark, you will spot the "Baum der Erkenntnis" artwork off the trail. There are additional benches to rest at this point as well. A viewpoint with stunning views awaits you at around 0.77 kilometers into the hike. For sustenance, the Sportheim Kappel pub is just 0.04 kilometers off the trail.

If you venture 0.41 kilometers off the trail, you will find the "Erderwärmung und der Biosphärenteufel" artwork and an information point named Eisweiher. Lastly, at around 0.5 kilometers into the hike, you will find more benches for a well-deserved break.
