This hiking route takes you to the stunning Roda di Vaèl - Rotwand peak in the beautiful mountainous area. The route is a circular one, covering a distance of approximately 8.438 kilometers with an elevation gain of 833 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Kaiserstein viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Vaiolonpaß - Passo Vajolon saddle, a natural marvel that adds to the allure of the hike.
Along the way, you will also encounter various points of interest such as the Teston dal Vajolon peak at 3.92 kilometers from the start, and the drinking water point at 2.08 kilometers from the start, providing you with essential hydration along the challenging trail.
There are parking areas available at the beginning of the route and informational points scattered throughout, offering insights into the region's history and natural features. Additionally, a bench is located at 2.3 kilometers from the start, providing a spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
