This extremely difficult hiking route takes you on a 12.846-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 878 meters to the beautiful Marchsäule destination. The trail starts at a parking area and the Kemater Alm restaurant and alpine hut is located just 0.12 kilometers from the beginning, where you can grab a bite to eat before starting your trek.
As you continue on the trail, you will come across various points of interest such as information points, the Marchsäule peak at 6.42 kilometers from the start, and the Sendersjöchl saddle at 6.12 kilometers. There are also benches and drinking water stations along the way to rest and rehydrate.
The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.
