This hiking route will take you to the stunning area surrounding Hoher Burgstall. With a distance of 9.871 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1182 meters, this difficult hike is sure to challenge and reward you.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across Parkplatz Starkenburger Hütte, a convenient parking area located right at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by benches where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. One of the notable points of interest along the way is the Starkenburger Hütte, an alpine hut nestled 3.63 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a perfect spot to take a break, refuel, and take in the breathtaking views.

Continuing on, at around 3.72 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history. As you approach the peak, Hoher Burgstall, located 4.94 kilometers from the start, be prepared to be amazed by the panoramic views that await you at the top.
