Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area and the Kemater Alm restaurant and alpine hut, where you can grab a meal or refreshments before continuing on your journey. As you ascend, you will come across the Seejöchl saddle at around 4.6 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque spot to rest and take in the views.

Around the halfway point, at 1.89 kilometers from the start, you will find the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte restaurant and alpine hut, providing another opportunity to refuel and recharge. At 5.33 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Gamskogel peak, where you can revel in panoramic views of the area. On your way back, be sure to stop by the drinking water station located 0.09 kilometers from the start to stay hydrated.
