This hiking route is situated in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the majestic peak of Tête des Ottans.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Parking du Grand Paradis, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. About 3.36 kilometers into the trail, you'll come across an information point that provides valuable insights about the area.
Around the 5.68-kilometer mark, you'll find a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. As you continue onwards, you'll encounter the Camping du Grand Paradis and the Auberge du Grand-Paradis, offering accommodation and dining options along the way.
At 8.89 kilometers, you'll reach the Tête des Ottans peak, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are benches strategically placed along the trail for resting and taking in the scenery.
During your hike, you can also visit the Refuge de Bonavau at the 3.36-kilometer mark, offering a place to rest and relax. As you trek further, you'll come across the Cascade de Bonavau, a magnificent waterfall that adds to the beauty of the route.
