This hiking route will take you through the scenic area surrounding Rifugio G.B. Ferraro. The route is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 2.671 kilometers and an elevation gain of 371 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level hike.
As you start your hike, you'll pass by Place de la Grotte, a parking area just 0.04 kilometers from the starting point. Along the trail, you'll find several drinking water stations conveniently located at various distances from the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout your hike.
Midway through the hike, at around 1.15 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Resy information point, where you can learn more about the area. Continuing on, you'll reach Rifugio Guide di Frachey and Rifugio G.B. Ferraro, alpine huts offering accommodation options for hikers.
At the end of the trail, 1.33 kilometers from the start, you'll find Stazione Arrivo Vecchia Teleferica, a viewpoint where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.
