Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Calisio!
Located in a beautiful area, this moderate difficulty trail covers a distance of 3.024 kilometers with an elevation gain of 265 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 21 minutes to complete. Before setting off, make sure to bring an adequate supply of water and check the weather forecast.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Sella Forte Casara, a saddle located 0.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along at 1.18 kilometers into the hike, you will find an information point named Stoi. As you continue onwards, you will reach a viewpoint at 1.5 kilometers, offering a stunning panoramic view of the surroundings.
A highlight of the hike is reaching Monte Calisio at 1.51 kilometers, a peak that rewards you with breathtaking vistas. Nearby, you can also explore the historic Forte Casara and its ruins at 0.61 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are benches for resting and a cave entrance at various points along the trail.
