This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Lac de Louvie. The trail is 7.323 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 742.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 33 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by a parking area and information points that provide details about the trail. Along the way, you will also encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Bassin de compensation de Fionnay, a water basin managed by Forces motrices de Mauvoisin. Further along, you will come across the Cabane de Louvie, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the views.
Midway through the hike, you will reach a fountain and a bench where you can rest and refill your water bottle. As you continue on, you will pass by another fountain and a restaurant called Le Mazot, where you can stop for a meal or a snack.
Towards the end of the trail, you will finally arrive at Lac de Louvie, a stunning mountain lake that is the perfect place to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery.
