This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an adventurous journey to Pointe Gaspard. Starting from the trailhead, you will first encounter a picturesque water feature just 50 meters into the hike. As you continue, you will pass by La Chavanne restaurant at the 3.07 km mark, offering a perfect spot to refuel before continuing your ascent.
Throughout the 14.87 km route, you will come across several natural water sources, providing opportunities to replenish your water supply. Be sure to pack enough water for the challenging elevation gain of 1602 meters. Midway through the hike, you will find informational signs at 3.27 km and a free flying takeoff site at 5.79 km, offering insights into the local flora and fauna.
As you approach the endpoint, at 7.44 km, you will reach Pointe Gaspard, a stunning peak with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Take some time to soak in the beauty before embarking on your return journey.
