This hiking route at Schaneralp offers stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty, covering a distance of 3.015 kilometers with an elevation gain of 327 meters. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 1134 meters.
As you begin your hike, you will find a convenient parking area nearby. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across a bench at the 1-kilometer mark, providing a perfect spot to rest and take in the surroundings. Further along, at the same distance, you will reach a viewpoint known as Schaneralp, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Be sure to stay hydrated on your hike as there are two drinking water stations along the trail, located at the 1-kilometer mark and closer to your destination. The endpoint of the hike is the peak known as Trunachopf, which offers spectacular views as a reward for your efforts.
