The Schneggenweg hiking route is a super easy 0.9 km trail with an elevation gain of 35 meters, perfect for beginners or those looking for a leisurely stroll. The route is an out-and-back trail, meaning you will retrace your steps to return to the starting point.

Starting at the parking area, you will find yourself surrounded by nature as you make your way along the trail. Just 25 meters from the trail, there is a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a snack. As you continue on, at the 0.45 km mark, you will come across a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the surrounding area.

For history enthusiasts, there is the Alte Brauerei Locher building located 195 meters off the trail at the same 0.45 km point. Although not directly on the trail, it is worth a visit if you have the time.

Along the trail, you will also find two more picnic sites, Grillstelle Egetenstrasse Grabs and Burgerholz, both perfect spots to rest and refuel before continuing on your hike.
