This challenging 6.8-kilometer circular hike will take you through the stunning surroundings of Lac de Darbon. The trail starts at Parking Les Cabrettes, where you can leave your car before embarking on this adventure.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by Refuge de Bise, an alpine hut nestled just 0.05 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the path, around 3.38 kilometers in, you'll reach the beautiful Lac de Darbon where you can take a break and enjoy the tranquil waters.

Along the way, you'll also come across Pointe des Fires at 2.35 kilometers, although it is not directly on the trail. Col de Floray, a saddle point, is situated at 2.37 kilometers from the start and is accessible directly from the trail.

Make sure to stay hydrated during your hike, as there are drinking water spots located approximately 0.09 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is information available at various points along the trail to enhance your experience, such as La Salle, Les Randonnées Autour de Bise, and Chalets de Bise.

The total elevation gain for this hike is 583 meters, so be prepared for some steep inclines. It's recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out and to bring plenty of water and snacks. The duration for this hike is estimated to be around 3 hours.
