Welcome to the Vepor hiking route, known for its stunning alpine scenery and challenging terrain.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Vepor peak. Along the way, you will pass by the charming alpine hut, Chata pod Hrbom, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views. As you continue on, you will come across the cozy pub, Koliba pod Vartou, perfect for refueling with some local sustenance.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the informative viewpoint, Včelinec, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further ahead, you will encounter the breathtaking viewpoints of Hrb and Vepor peaks, both offering a spectacular vantage point for taking in the scenery.

Don't forget to check out the informative spots along the trail, such as Sedlo pod Hrbom, where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife. Additionally, make sure to visit the beautiful artwork installations, Železné srdce Slovenska - Vtáčiky and Železné srdce Slovenska - Tichomír, adding a cultural touch to your hike.

Throughout this challenging 18.829-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 654 meters, it is important to stay hydrated and come prepared with appropriate hiking gear. The duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours and 59 minutes, so be sure to start early and check the weather forecast before embarking on this extremely difficult journey.
