This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Koča na Čemšeniški planini. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of approximately 3.76 kilometers and an elevation gain of 223 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area just 0.22 kilometers from the trailhead. From there, you will follow the trail and at around 1.53 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a scenic viewpoint called Razgledna klop where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views.

Continuing on, at approximately 0.84 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the peak known as Jelenov rog. Although it is slightly off the main trail, it offers a rewarding view for those willing to make a detour.

After reaching the highest point, the trail will lead you to the Planinski dom dr. Franca Goloba, located at around 1.88 kilometers from the start. This alpine hut provides a great spot to rest and refuel before making your way back to the starting point.
