This hiking route will take you to the stunning Piz Boè area. The trail is 5.877 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 898 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 36 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.3 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the German Military Cemetery, a historic memorial site. Continuing on, at the 1-kilometer mark, you will pass by the German Military Cemetery Pordoi, another significant landmark along the trail.
Midway through your hike, at approximately 2.94 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Capanna Piz Fassa, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel with stunning views of the surrounding area. Nearby, you can also explore the peak of Piz Boè.
Towards the end of the hike, you will encounter benches where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery before making your way back. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear for this challenging trek. Additionally, it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail.
