This difficult 7.918-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Rifugio Boé in a beautiful alpine setting. Starting from the trailhead, you'll first come across the German Military Cemetery, a solemn memorial just 0.3 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
As you continue onwards, you'll pass by the German Military Cemetery Pordoi, located just 0.01 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 0.14 kilometers, you'll find a resting spot with a bench to catch your breath and take in the views.
Around the midway point of the hike at 2.94 kilometers, you'll reach the impressive peak of Piz Boè, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. At 3.09 kilometers, there is an information point to learn more about the area's history and natural features.
The final destination, Rifugio Boé, is situated 3.96 kilometers into the hike and serves as a cozy alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back. Just before reaching Rifugio Boé, you'll pass by the Forcella dai Ciamorcès saddle, offering a unique vantage point of the landscape.
