This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area surrounding Pic de la Coma de Varilles. With a total distance of 9.402 kilometers and an elevation gain of 781 meters, this hike is classified as difficult and is estimated to take around 4 hours and 7 minutes to complete.

Starting at the parking area at Coma de Ransol, you will embark on an out-and-back journey that leads you through stunning wilderness scenery. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to refill your water supply at various natural water sources located 1.49 kilometers and 2.45 kilometers from the start of the trail.

As you continue on your hike, approximately 1.35 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Refugi de Coms de Jan wilderness hut. This is a great resting spot where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Halfway through the hike, at around 4.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Pic de la Coma de Varilles. This is a fantastic vantage point where you can take in panoramic views of the area.
