This challenging hiking route takes you to the stunning Tosa de Juclar area, offering breathtaking views and natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 9.6 kilometers with an elevation gain of 514 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest, including the Estany Primer de Juclar, a picturesque lake approximately 3.77 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, at a distance of 3.41 kilometers, you will find the Refugi de Juclar, an alpine hut where hikers can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
During your hike, you will also pass by various water sources, such as the Font del Travenc spring at 1.04 kilometers and the Cascada del Juclar waterfall at 2.28 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are several viewpoints and natural landmarks, like benches, rock formations, and historic memorials scattered along the trail, providing opportunities to rest and appreciate the surroundings.
At the midway point, you can visit the restaurant l'Ovella Negra, located at 0.17 kilometers from the start, for a meal or refreshments before continuing your journey. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the viewpoints to capture the stunning vistas of the area.
