This hiking route is located in a beautiful natural area with various water features and recreational spots along the way. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.146 kilometers and no elevation gain.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a parking area within the first few meters of the hike. As you continue on, about 140 meters from the start, you will find Ash Pool, followed by Gibsons Pool at 420 meters from the beginning. These are peaceful water features where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
Further along the trail at around 570 meters from the start, you will reach Sandy Pool and Alder Pool, both offering tranquil spots to rest and maybe even take a dip. Kingfisher Pool is also nearby at 490 meters from the start, providing another scenic spot to admire nature.
Additionally, midway through the hike, there is Burdetts Pool at 470 meters from the start, offering a peaceful setting to relax by the water. Climbing enthusiasts will also find a Climbing Tower right at the beginning of the trail, adding a fun element to the hike.
The destination of this route is Sandy Pool, a serene water feature where you can unwind before heading back the way you came.
