This challenging 7-kilometer long hiking route will take you to the stunning Tête des Bécus peak. The trail begins at the parking area, and as you make your way along the path, you'll come across several points of interest.
At the beginning of the hike, you'll pass by the information point called "Malatrait," where you can learn more about the area. Further along, about 1.58 kilometers into the hike, you'll find another information point named "La Cha." This is a good spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
As you continue on the trail, you'll come across "La Cha" once again, this time about 1.65 kilometers from the start. Around 2.23 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach "La Flechère," another information point where you can gather more insights about the region.
About midway through the hike, at approximately 3.5 kilometers from the starting point, you'll reach the majestic Tête des Bécus peak. This is the highlight of the hike and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Additionally, there is a wayside shrine located about 1.69 kilometers from the start, but it is slightly off the trail. If you have the time and energy, it may be worth visiting this historical site.
Overall, this hike is considered difficult due to its 618-meter elevation gain and 7-kilometer length. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
