This hike takes place in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 7.166 kilometers and an elevation gain of 245 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Kostirda water source approximately 3.58 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a short break before continuing on.

Further along the trail, at around 2.09 kilometers from the start, you will find another water source for your convenience.

If you need parking facilities, there is a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, making it easy to access. Additionally, there are two restaurants, "Bistro Vila Marija" and "Vala", located at the trailhead, so you can grab a meal before or after your hike.

On your way back, approximately 3 kilometers from the start, you will come across a wayside cross at a distance of 7.48 meters from the trail. This historical landmark adds a cultural element to your hike and is worth checking out.

Towards the end of the trail, at 2.36 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Humčac. This is a great vantage point to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
