This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Deux-Criques. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 12.868 kilometers and an elevation gain of 237 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and strength.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Rivière-à-la-Pêche - Pavillon de services information center, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to gather any last-minute information before heading out. Not far from the start, you will also find a parking area, so make sure to leave your car here before starting the hike.
As you venture further into the trail, you will encounter some beautiful viewpoints along the way. The Lac de la Dame, Lac Maufet, and Lac Trudel offer picturesque scenery and a perfect place to take a break and admire the surroundings. These serene water bodies are scattered throughout the hike, with Lac Trudel situated midway through the trail.
About 6.43 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a point where the trail passes by a water feature, adding to the tranquil ambiance of the area. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey.
Towards the end of the trail, at around 3.47 kilometers from the start, you will come across another viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. This is a great place to capture some memorable photos and take in the beauty of Deux-Criques.
