This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape of Elephant Rocks, with a total distance of 7.939 kilometers and an elevation gain of 341 meters. The duration of the hike is estimated to be around 2 hours and 41 minutes.

Starting at Burstall Pass Parking, located 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, you will make your way towards Elephant Rocks. Along the way, you will pass by Chester Lake, located 3.64 kilometers from the start, and a viewpoint called Elephant Rocks, situated 3.97 kilometers into the hike.

For your convenience, there is also Chester Lake Trailhead Parking available at the start of the trail. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this challenging hike, and check the weather forecast before setting out.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. Enjoy the beautiful views and unique rock formations along the way, and take your time to soak in the natural beauty of Elephant Rocks.
