This extremely difficult 20.956-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the majestic Mount Galatea in a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail features an elevation gain of 1546.0 meters and is expected to take approximately 8 hours and 42 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across Rummel Lake Parking, located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on your journey. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources, with the closest one being 7.26 kilometers from the start. Remember to bring enough water to stay hydrated during your long and challenging hike.

Midway through your trek, you will find another water source just 7.97 kilometers from the starting point. Take a moment to rest and refuel before continuing towards Mount Galatea. As you approach the peak, you will pass by a third water source at 8.56 kilometers from the start.
