As you start your journey, you will come across Colle San Carlo, a beautiful saddle located right at the beginning of the trail. For those looking to take a break and enjoy a snack, there is a picnic site just 0.12 kilometers away from the starting point. Additionally, there are multiple drinking water stations along the trail to keep you hydrated throughout your hike.

Although Testa d'Arpy, a peak, is located 1.07 kilometers from the start, it is slightly off the main trail. If you're interested in history, you can explore the Fortificazioni castle ruins, which are located 1.07 kilometers from the start.
