This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Speicherteich Holzalm. The trail spans a distance of 11.55 kilometers with an elevation gain of 476 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding journey.

Starting at the DAV-Parkplatz, you will begin your hike and pass by the Jausenstation Holzalm-Kaesealm restaurant at around 4.64 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refuel and enjoy a meal before continuing on your trek.

Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as the Rieplalmhütte wilderness hut at 2.72 kilometers from the start, and the Dr.-Erich-Berger-Hütte wilderness hut at 2.18 kilometers from the start. These huts offer a cozy place to rest and take in the stunning surroundings.

As you make your way back, you'll pass by the Brixentaler Holzalm restaurant at 4.68 kilometers from the start, another great spot to grab a bite to eat. Be sure to also check out the benches and information points scattered along the trail for resting and learning more about the area.
