This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Ex Caserma, starting at an elevation of 317 meters and reaching a peak altitude of 1170 meters at your destination. The total distance of the hike is 8.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 860 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will first come across Ex Caserma, a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape just 4 kilometers from the starting point. From there, you will continue on towards Col Bel peak, located right at the start of your journey. As you trek further, you will reach La Cima peak at about 1 kilometer from the starting point, offering more breathtaking views of the area.

Along the way, you will also encounter a historic wayside cross after a kilometer, adding a touch of cultural significance to your hike. At 3 kilometers in, you will find the Sorgente della Luganega spring, providing a refreshing spot to rest and refill your water supply. Additionally, there are multiple drinking water stations and benches strategically placed throughout the route for your convenience.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point after reaching the destination. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear for this adventure.
