Welcome to the hiking route to Blue Eye in Albania. This beautiful area offers stunning natural scenery and a variety of points of interest to explore along the way.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey on this 2.345-kilometer out-and-back route. The trail is relatively easy with a total elevation gain of 162 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.21 kilometers from the start, you will find a viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of the area.
Continuing on, at around 0.69 kilometers from the start, you will pass by a cafe where you can stop for a refreshing drink or snack. Further along the trail, at 0.69 kilometers, there is a bench where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
At 0.96 kilometers from the start, you will find another bench, followed by a bench at 1.16 kilometers, and a colorful alpine hut called Bujtina "Blue Eye Kaprre" at 1.16 kilometers. These spots provide opportunities to rest and recharge before continuing on your hike.
Midway through the route, at 1.17 kilometers from the start, you will reach Syri i Kaltër, a beautiful natural water feature. This is a perfect place to pause and appreciate the stunning blue waters.
At the same distance from the start, you will also come across a restaurant called Restorant - "Blue Eye" where you can enjoy a delicious meal before heading back.
Towards the end of the trail, also at 1.17 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the mesmerizing Blue Eye waterfall. This enchanting sight is a highlight of the hike and a must-see for nature lovers.
