Welcome to the Blackenalp hiking route! This circular trail covers a distance of approximately 7.98 kilometers with an elevation gain of 389 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 49 minutes.

The trail starts at a parking area and shortly after, you will come across Stäfeli, a quaint information point situated just 0.27 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will encounter Berggasthaus Stäfeli, a restaurant located at the same distance, providing a perfect spot to refuel and enjoy some local cuisine.

Further along the trail, at around 1.96 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station to fill up your water bottles. As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at approximately 3.79 kilometers from the start, you will reach Blackenalp, a charming cafe and alpine hut where you can take a break and soak in the serene surroundings.

Throughout the hike, you will be treated to scenic viewpoints and picturesque waterfalls, including Stäuberfall I and II. These natural wonders offer perfect opportunities to pause, take photos, and appreciate the beauty of the area.
