This hiking route takes you to the stunning Pic de Malcaras, located in a beautiful area with breathtaking views. The trail is 8.02 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1181 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you will find parking available nearby. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike as there are no water sources directly on the trail until you reach the 3.22-kilometer mark where you can find a natural water source. You can also take a break at the Orris du carla shelter, which is located just 0.06 kilometers from the start.

Further along the trail, at around 1.76 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Cabane de Lauzes - Abri Pastoral shelter. This is a good spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. As you continue on, at the 3.49-kilometer mark, you will reach the Col de la Oussade saddle, offering panoramic views of the area.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Pic de Malcaras peak, which is located at around 4.01 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way back, you can stop at the Orris Carla d'en haut monument, located 0.54 kilometers from the start.
