Welcome to the Canyon Vista Trail! This hiking route is a 2.011-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 102 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The total duration of the hike is approximately 43 minutes and 13 seconds.

The trail starts at a parking area labeled as P3, located right at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Dick Ames Shelter about midway through the trail. This shelter serves as a great resting spot and offers a viewpoint of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at around the 1.01-kilometer mark, you'll find another viewpoint that provides a picturesque vista of the canyon.

For those who want to take a break and enjoy the scenery, the Black Snag Bench is located approximately 0.94 kilometers from the trailhead. This bench offers a peaceful spot to sit and relax while taking in the natural beauty of the area.

As you continue on the trail, about 0.31 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a cave entrance. While not directly on the trail, this cave entrance adds an element of intrigue to the hike and is worth a brief detour to explore.
