Welcome to the Col d'Anzana supertrail! This challenging circular hiking route covers a distance of 8.84 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1015 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trail for experienced hikers.
Starting from the designated parking area located 0.25 kilometers from the beginning of the trail, hikers will pass by the Xenodochio di Santa Perpetua ruins at the 0.79-kilometer mark. Along the way, you will have access to drinking water points and information kiosks for guidance.
At the 3.91-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the impressive Sasso Lughina peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, be sure to hydrate at the drinking water station located 1.84 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at the 4.16-kilometer mark, you'll find a water source perfect for a quick refill before reaching the viewpoint at 4.16 kilometers. Here, take a moment to rest on one of the benches provided and enjoy the scenic vistas.
At the 0.58-kilometer mark, you'll have the option to stop at Ristorante Marianna for a meal or continue towards the endpoint. On your return journey, make a pit stop at La Botte restaurant located 0.37 kilometers from the start and grab a coffee at La piazza cafe 0.39 kilometers away.
