This challenging hiking route will take you on a circular journey through the stunning Col d'Anzana supertrail area.
Starting at the trailhead, make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for the 8.84-kilometer trek with an elevation gain of 1015 meters. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.25 kilometers from the start, you will find a convenient parking area. Further along, at around 0.79 kilometers, you can explore the historic ruins of Xenodochio di Santa Perpetua. Additionally, at 4.16 kilometers into the hike, there is a water source for you to refill your supplies.
For panoramic views, head to the Sasso Lughina peak located approximately 3.91 kilometers from the starting point. Along the trail, you will also encounter various amenities such as drinking water stations, viewpoints, and even a restaurant called Ristorante Marianna at 0.57 kilometers.
