This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Merespiz. The trail is super easy with a distance of 1.558 kilometers and an elevation gain of 68.0 meters, making it suitable for beginner hikers.

As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the start of the trail. Just a short distance from the trail, you will find a drinking water source and a fountain to refill your water bottles.

Midway through the hike, at around 0.78 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the historic wayside cross and natural peak known as Mere Spiz. This viewpoint offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, providing the perfect spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.

As you continue on the trail, you may also come across a cave entrance at 0.71 kilometers from the start, adding to the adventure of the hike. Just a bit further, there is a bench where you can rest and enjoy a snack before making your way back.
