This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Sausteigen. The trail is 11.031 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 871 meters, so it is considered difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Sausteigen peak. At around 1.88 kilometers from the start, you will come across a drinking water spot where you can refill your water bottles. Continuing on, about 2 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you make your way towards the peak, you will encounter another bench at 1.89 kilometers from the start, perfect for taking in the views. Finally, after a total of 5.52 kilometers, you will reach the Sausteigen peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area.
