Welcome to the Droga Przyjaźni Polsko-Czeskiej hiking route!

This 11.334-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a challenging but rewarding hiking experience with a total elevation gain of 758 meters. The route is located in a picturesque area with stunning viewpoints and historic landmarks along the way.

At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Kasa KPN information point where you can learn about the local area. As you continue your hike, you will pass by the Dom Śląski alpine hut, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Obři bouda ruins, offering a glimpse into the area's rich history.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Przełęcz pod Śnieżką saddle, providing a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. As you approach the endpoint, you will reach the Śnieżka peak, the highest point in the region, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.

Throughout the hike, make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water and snacks to keep you energized. Due to the trail's difficulty, it is recommended to wear sturdy hiking shoes and check the weather forecast before embarking on the journey.
