Welcome to the hiking route to Dom Śląski in the Karkonosze Mountains. This challenging out-and-back trail spans approximately 9.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 567 meters, taking around 3 hours and 34 minutes to complete.
The trail begins at the Parking Biały Jar - stacja górna, where you can leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you'll find the Kasa KPN, where you can gather some information before proceeding further.
As you continue, you'll pass by the Pomnik ofiar lawiny 20.03.1968, a memorial commemorating the victims of an avalanche. Further ahead, you'll reach the Dziki Wodospad, a stunning waterfall that offers a refreshing sight along the trail.
Midway through the hike, you'll encounter the breathtaking viewpoint at Równia pod Śnieżką, perfect for capturing memorable photos of the surrounding landscape. Further along, you'll find the wilderness hut at a distance of 3.39 kilometers from the start, offering a potential rest stop for tired hikers.
As you approach Dom Śląski, you'll pass by the Obři bouda ruins and the Obří sedlo information point. Finally, you'll reach your destination at Dom Śląski, where you can rest and refuel at the mountain shelter before heading back along the same trail.
This hike is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain, so be prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks for energy. It's also recommended to check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.
