This scenic trail spans approximately 4.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 345 meters, making it a moderate-level hike that offers a good workout while still being accessible to hikers of varying skill levels.
The trail starts near a shelter and a beautiful fountain at the Parc du Claux, offering a serene setting to begin your journey. As you make your way along the path, you will come across several points of interest. Along the trail, you will find picnic sites and benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.
About 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Le Roc Nantais viewpoint, which offers stunning panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to capture some photos and take in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
As you continue on, you will also come across the Monument aux Morts, a historic memorial along the route. Further along, you will encounter the Statue de Jeanne D'arc, an artwork that adds an interesting cultural element to the hike.
At about 2.4 kilometers into the trail, you will reach another viewpoint before making your way back towards the starting point. Along the way, you can visit the Source de la Barbaresque spring to quench your thirst with fresh water.
