This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Franzosenkreuz. The trail is 4.725 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 431.0 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 10 minutes to complete.

As you begin your hike, you will come across the Bergrettungshütte Alpine Hut located just 0.22 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along, at the same distance mark, you will find the Lackner restaurant and the Seekaralm restaurant, perfect spots to take a break and refuel.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.36 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Franzosenkreuz peak. This is a great place to enjoy panoramic views and rest before heading back.

Along the trail, there are several water points and informational spots for your convenience. Make sure to stay hydrated and informed about the area as you hike.
