This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the majestic peak of Sasso Lanzone in the breathtaking area surrounding it. With a total distance of 12.842 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1051.0 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart.

Starting off at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Sasso Lanzone. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 1.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Alpine Hut "Capanna Bovarina" where you can take a break and enjoy some rest. Further along the trail, at around 3.83 kilometers, you will reach "Lago Retico," a picturesque water feature that adds to the beauty of the surroundings.

As you continue your ascent, you will encounter more water points at 3.6 and 3.7 kilometers, providing refreshing stops for hydration. Additionally, at 3.91 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area.
