This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The route is an out-and-back type, spanning a total distance of 14.775 kilometers with an elevation gain of 993 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you embark on this adventure, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, there is a parking area for your convenience. Further along, at around 1.39 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source where you can replenish your supplies.

Around the 4.02 kilometer mark, you will reach a saddle point, followed by a restaurant, the Agriturismo Abbazia di San Salvatore in Valdicastro, at 6.91 kilometers from the start. This will be a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal with a beautiful view.

Continuing on, at 6.67 kilometers from the start, there is a spring where you can refill your water bottle. Along the way, you will also encounter information points and a wayside shrine that offer insights into the area's history and culture.

As you approach the turnaround point, there is a shelter called "Casetta" at 3.88 kilometers from the start, providing a resting place before you head back. Make sure to check the forecast before embarking on this challenging hike and bring plenty of water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized throughout the journey.
