Welcome to the hiking route to Capanna Grossalp! This trail offers a moderate challenge with a distance of 4.244 kilometers and an elevation gain of 404 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 2 hours.

The trail starts in a beautiful area with convenient parking available at the beginning of the route. As you begin your hike, you will find Bar Cupola nearby for a quick refreshment stop right at the start.

About 2.12 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Capanna Grossalp, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The hut offers accommodation and can be a great turnaround point if you wish to extend your hike into an overnight adventure.

Along the way, you will also find several drinking water stations for you to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated during your hike. These stations are located at various points along the trail, making it convenient for you to replenish your water supply.

As you make your way back from Capanna Grossalp, you can take a break at the wayside shrine located 0.16 kilometers from the start of the trail. Additionally, benches are available approximately 0.12 kilometers from the start for you to rest and take in the scenic views.
