This hiking route follows the GR 70 - Chemin de Stevenson in a beautiful area with stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is 10.443 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 392 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 2.54 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Col de la Pierre Plantée, a picturesque saddle with panoramic views. Nearby, at 1.24 kilometers from the start, there is a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Continuing on, at around 2.57 kilometers from the beginning, you'll find another shelter for a rest stop. Approximately at the 2.54 kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Menhir du Col de la Pierre Plantée, an ancient archaeological site worth exploring.
Around 4.47 kilometers into the hike, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area. At 2.53 kilometers from the start, there is another information point providing insights into the surroundings.
As you progress further, at 5.22 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a peak, offering a breathtaking vantage point. Finally, at 0.06 kilometers from the initial point, you'll find Le Petit Calbertois, a restaurant where you can refuel after your hike.
