This challenging hiking route takes you to the Signal du Bougès in the beautiful Cevennes region. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 7.659 kilometers and an elevation gain of 335 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 2 hours and 36 minutes to complete.

As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the La Cabane de Bonnal shelter, located 1.96 kilometers from the start. This non-guarded cabin is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Continuing on, you will reach the Col du Sapet saddle, which is only 0.01 kilometers from the trail. This natural feature offers stunning views of the area and is a great place to take in the scenery.

As you make your way towards the Signal du Bougès peak, you will also encounter the Menhir du Col du Sapet, an archaeological site located 0.01 kilometers from the trail. This ancient megalithic monument adds a sense of history to your hike.
