Welcome to the hiking route in Peringsseeallee! This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the designated parking area, you will pass by a peaceful cemetery at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you'll come across several benches where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature. Be sure to check out the information point about the Naturschutzgebiet ehem. Klärteiche, a former sewage pond turned nature reserve.
About halfway through the hike, you'll find a picnic site where you can stop for a leisurely meal surrounded by the beauty of the area. Keep an eye out for the benches donated in honor of Peter Weitz, a local honorary citizen, as you make your way back towards the starting point.
Along the trail, you'll also encounter several natural water features, providing a serene and calming backdrop to your hike. Rest at the shelter located near the halfway point before heading back towards the parking area.
