This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of High Street in the Vale of White Horse. The 5.02 kilometers long trail has a moderate difficulty level with an elevation gain of 66 meters.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.05 kilometers into the hike, you will find a cafe where you can grab a quick bite or a hot beverage before continuing on your way. Further along the trail, at 0.05 kilometers, there is another cafe called Coffee Corner, perfect for a refreshment stop.
Midway through the hike, at 2.4 kilometers, you will reach The Hatchet pub, a great spot to take a break and enjoy some local food and drinks. As you make your way back, around 2.51 kilometers into the trail, there is a water source to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
It is recommended to bring an ample supply of water, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out. The entire hike is an out-and-back route, offering a scenic and rewarding experience for hikers of all skill levels.
