This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Monte Pavione area. The trail spans a distance of 11.97 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1403 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.

At the beginning of the hike, you'll pass by the Aune information point and a drinking water source to fill up your bottles. As you trek further, you'll come across Passo S.Antonio, a natural saddle at 2.87 kilometers from the start, and Passo del Pavione at 4.72 kilometers. The route also features several rock formations and peaks like Cima di Monsampiano and Monte Pavione itself at 5.99 kilometers.
