This challenging hiking route takes you through the breathtaking wilderness of the area, offering stunning views and unique experiences along the way. The trail starts at a convenient parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your adventure.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water fountain, allowing you to replenish your water supply. Further along, at around 0.11 kilometers, there is a restaurant called Albergo Ristorante La Vecchia partenza, where you can stop for a delicious meal.

Continuing on, at approximately 1.86 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter another drinking water fountain for your convenience. About 2.99 kilometers from the start, there is a natural spring where you can rest and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. A bit further, at 4.01 kilometers, you'll reach Passo di Garlenda, a picturesque saddle offering panoramic views of the area.

As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at 5.29 kilometers, you'll find Rifugio Sanremo, a cozy wilderness hut where you can take a break and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. Just a bit farther, at 5.50 kilometers, you'll have the opportunity to explore Cima Valletta della Punta, a stunning natural peak.

For a more adventurous experience, you can venture to Monte Cimanasso, located approximately 4.52 kilometers from the start. This peak offers a unique vantage point and a rewarding challenge for hikers.

Towards the end of the trail, at 5.82 kilometers, you'll reach Rifugio La Terza, an inviting alpine hut where you can relax and take in the stunning views before turning back.

This 11.64-kilometer out-and-back route features a total elevation gain of 693 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike for experienced outdoor enthusiasts. Remember to bring an adequate supply of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this unforgettable adventure.
