This hiking route is in a challenging and beautiful area, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type route with a total distance of approximately 19.3 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1635 meters, making it extremely difficult.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Rifugio Città di Lissone, an alpine hut located about 2 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the mountain scenery. Continuing on, at around the 5-kilometer mark, you will find the Rifugio Baita Adamè and a wilderness hut, offering accommodation options for those looking to stay overnight.
As you trek further along the trail, you will pass by viewpoints and natural features such as the Cima Settentrionale di Frampola and the Bocchetta di Frampola, both peaks offering breathtaking panoramic vistas. Around the 9.6-kilometer mark, you will reach the Rifugio Paolo Prudenzini, another alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back.
